The Lark showing is located directly north of Boot Lake, approximately 1 kilometre south west of Lawier Lake..

The area is underlain by Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation amygdaloidal andesites and basalts. The volcanics strike 325 degrees and dip 60 degrees south- west.

Trenches expose an andesite flow breccia with occasional red rhyolite fragments. The breccia contains interstitial calcite and scattered grains and veinlets of malachite. Prehnite and hematite are present and there are scattered grains and veinlets of native copper.

In 1971, Almaza Minerals completed a program of geological mapping, soil sampling and a ground magnetometer survey on the area as the Win, Zap and Lark claims.
